To hold talks on topics related to Mexico: its people,
places, culture, politics, history or any other subject
of interest to members. Following each lecture there is
an opportunity for members to meet others over a glass of
wine.
To arrange activities such as talks related to Mexican
events organized by others. For example, a talk about an
artist who is featured at an exhibition of Mexican paintings
or a talk on a composer or musician before a concert of
Mexican music.
To arrange social events such as receptions or dinners
which may also provide fundraising opportunities for selected
Mexican charities.
To arrange events in different parts of the UK to facilitate
participation by members living outside London.
To award a prize
for the best PhD thesis produced at a British University
on a topic related to Mexico.
To send regular newsletters to members with details of
future events being organized by the Society and of events
being organized by others which will be of interest to members.
